Outlook 2002

I am trying to set up an email account with my local ISP with Outlook 2002.
I have entered all the correct info including server names and ports, SSL. I
can receive mail but not send it. The error says that I cant logon to the
outgoing server. It is found when I test the settings, but fails on a test
email. What do I check next?

"What do I check next?"

The Outlook newsgroups. Not a Windows XP issue ;-)

Contact you ISP for the necessary specific instructions for connecting
to their mail server.
