Outlook 2002 - Reduce .pst file size

I cannot open the Contacts Folder of Outlook 2002. I keep receiving a
message telling me to reduce the size of my .pst file has reached it's
maximum limit. But I cannot open the file from Contacts to edit it. How can
I edit this file?
