Outlook 2002 Profile Generation

Hi all

I would be grateful of some helo with my question please.

We have moved from Office 2000 to Office XP. We have a completely unattended
Windows XP build with a standard set of applications installed by default,
one of these being Office XP Standard.

When a user logs into their PC for the very first time and runs outlook, the
application starts with a wizard asking for their username and Mail server
name etc.....

What we would like to acheive to so supress this wizard so that the
application opens pre-configured for the user who has logged in.

For example, the user logs into the PC for the very first time and it goes
straight into Outlook the the users mailbox, no wizard running, directly to
their mailbox.

Is there a way we can capture the users username and mail server and
incorporate these into either the registry or ano area so that it does not
run the wizard on first usage.

We can capture the username from the environment variable %username% and I
know in AD we have the exchange server within the variable
msExchHomeServerName.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Bill

The Office XP Resource Kit online has information on how to do this with the tools in the RK.
