Outlook 2002 comes up with Enter Network Password box

I am running Office XP on Vista Business. Had no problem with Outlook XP on
Win XP. Now, everytime Outlook wants to log on to various servers to download
it requests the password, and keeps happening regardless of the number of
times I enter the correct password.
I have read some of the threads and have tried most of the remedies/options
but still am having no success.
Can anyone offer other offerings?

Outlook XP is not fully compatible with Vista and this is a recognised
problem, which wont be addressed by MS since your version is out of support.
If none of the workarounds posted have worked for you, then thats it, untill
you upgrade Outlook
