Outlook 2002 and Hotmail

I am having a problem accessing hotmail via Outlook 2002. When I attempt
"send/receive" on Outlook, my pop3 accts work fine, but for hotmail I get the
folowing error message: " hotmail inbox synchronizing headers( error
0x800CCCF6).

I made sure I am not signed into hotmail.

Can you please help me resolve this??

Thanks!

How old is your Hotmail account? WebDAV scripting is used to communicate
between the e-mail client and the Hotmail server. Outlook and Outlook
Express support WebDAV. WebDAV access ceased for new *free* Hotmail
accounts created after 20-Nov-2004. If your Hotmail account was created
after that date, WebDAV works only for *paid* Hotmail accounts. If the
Hotmail account is older than that, they grandfathered it in so WebDAV
continues works for free accounts.
