I have recently reinstalled Outlook 2000 on a computer with XP Pro as the OS.
Following the reinstallation I imported the PST file and the application
seemed to be working flawlessly. I tried to send an attachment using by
right clicking on the attachment and then selecting "Send To" and then
clicking "mail reciepient." I inserted the receipient's address and
proceeded to send the message. At this point a I received a message about
importing addresses from the Internet which I dismissed.
After sending the message I checked the "Sent Items" folder and it showed
the message had been sent. Sometime later I was notified by the receipient
that they had not received the message. I subsequently sent a test message
to two addresses directly through Outlook and again the "Sent Items" folder
indicated the messages had been sent but neither test message was received by
the receipient.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so do you have a solution?
Thanks for any help.
