outlook 2000 doesnt synchronise with ipaq :(

hi all have a ipaq 4150 runnin pocketPC2003 (ce4), also
have outlook 2000 (sr-1) running. I have activesync
3.7.1, and that connects each and every time. I can copy
files to and from the PDA. First time installed it said
it synched okkay. Now each time i put the PDA in the
cradle, it connects okkay (i can transfer files and
games), but the synching fails. I get the
message : "Synchronisation cannot be completed
succesfully. Disconnect your device and try again. if the
problem persists, see the activeSync troubleshooter in
Microsoft Activesync Help on your desktop". I have
searched and cannot find the description of why this is
happening or what to do about it to make it work ?? Any
ides ? thanks in advance

Hi there
I have found in the past that I have needed to do a hard
reset in order to get it to work. Please refer to the
product documentation for instructions on how to reset the
device, but bare in mind to backup the data first as a
hard reset will erase ALL data on the IPAQ.

Your iPAQ came with a companion disk containing Outlook 2002. While that
may not solve your problem, it will provide you with a better Outlook.

Try deleting and then recreating the partnership.
