outlook 2000 does not send or forward emails

I use Outlook 2000 ith Windows XP (prof), SP3 on a stand alone laptop. Since
yesterday, I am unable to forward emails or reply to them. Occasionally I can
still send new email. The forwarded email gets deposited in the Sent folder
and a message like the following gets deposited in my Deleted folder (I use
Spamblocker which hetherto has orked absolutely fine):
"Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: RE: FW: Advanced Income on Demand System
Sent: 13/02/2009 17:52

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'Sam Zammit' on 13/02/2009 17:53
No transport provider was available for delivery to this
recipient."

Closing everything down and rebooting has not remedied the problem.

I'd be extremely grateful for suggestions.
