Outlook 2000 Crashes

Using W98, Outlook 2000 with all updates, 384MB Ram, .pst
is 140KB. Outlook opens, draws mail down, on reading
message, it crashes This Program has performed and illegal
operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists,
contact the program vendor. Details:
OUTLOOK caused an invalid page fault in
module MSO9.DLL at 017f:308e0a2e.

Running the same .pst on a W2000 machine with Outlook
2000, no problem. Any thoughts??

Try running "Detect and Repair" from under the help menu in your problem

Thanks for the thought, I tried it, but it still crashes.
Also ran the pst repair, with no luck.

Any other thoughts before I do a complete remove & reload
(UGH) are appreciated.
