Outlook 2000 and Vista

When downloading vista I lost the WAB DLL file how to I get it back so that I
can send emails. I've reinstalled outlook but it diodn't restore it.

Outlook 2000 has more than one installation mode. From what I've read, this
seems to be an issue with the Internet mode. Have you tried reinstalling in
Corporate mode?

It has been noted previously that Outlook 2000 is not compatible with Vista.
Outlook 2003 is the earliest version compatible.

Simple fix for this:

Go to \Program Files\Common Files\System

Copy these files to \Windows\System32

wab32.dll
wab32res.dll

This should fix your problem.
