Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003

We have a client with multiple users who have been sharing contacts and
calendars through Outlook 2000 Contact manager. One of the users has updated
to Outlook 2003, I think he has the full Office Pro suite but not completely
sure.. My question is can this user install Outlook 2003 with BCM and connect
up to the database used in 2000? Or are they completely foreign to each
other...

Hi

As far as i remember OL2000 Contact Manager can be stated as the parent of
BCM,it used to store all the info based on the Journal entry concept but do
note the data was still stored in the pst file. However BCM stores data on an
MSDE so that is the reason you would not be able to connect.Hope this helps
