Outlook 07 Some new emails only appear in my unread view

Very strange but some of my new emails do not appear in my inbox. I can only
find the missing emails by running a search (if i'm exepcting them) or by
changing my view to unread emails. I have not installed Office SP1 , but it
seems this is not addressed in SP1. Appreciate the help.

Try restarting Outlook once with the /cleanviews command switch.
Start>Run>"outlook.exe /cleanviews">OK
(Leave out the quotes from the command, but include the space.)
 
Thanks Brian, i tried it but it didnt work. Anything else i can try?

In what folder does the Unread Mail folder say the messages are stored?
What kind of account? If you start Outlook with the /safe command switch,
does it make a difference?
