Outline Printing Problem-Text Boxes not expanding

I've got eight PowerPoints built. Along the way, I did a lot of cut & paste,
duplicate slides, etc. When I go to print in Outline mode, some expand fine
and show all the text. Others just show the page title, and those all seem to
have been text box inserts. This seems like I need to reform all those text
boxes but I can't figure out how. Thoughts?

Thanks. Can I cut the current text, reove the text box, then add a
Placeholder and paste the text back? For some reason, Help told me when I
clicked on Placeholders that my security setting s were off so I couldn't get
any info there. This is also an issue because all of these have been run
through a Pack and Go system and I'm worried I may have to re-do that process
as well. I appreciate your time.....

Thanks again, I'll get on it....

Yes, you can do that. That's very much the process I'd use. (I'd throw in an
"apply layout" or "reset" after pasting the text into the placeholder.

You know, I just reread -- to add a placeholder, you'll want to apply the
slide layout.

So, cut the text, delete the textbox, apply slide layout, paste the text,
then reapply slide layout (or use Reset button if PPT 2007).

You can also select all the text and drag it into the placeholder.
(Sometimes that means moving the placeholder out of the way, and then
dragging the text into the placeholder.) Then delete the textbox and reapply
the slide layout.

:

Hi Bret,
The Outline shows text only from text placeholders. So you will need
to
paste the text into placeholders.
