Does you connection to that server cross from one internet provider's
equipment
to another's before it gets there? If so, such connections to port 25 are
often
blocked to cause trouble for spammers. If this is the case, ask mris.com if
their outgoing email server listens for outgoing mail on any other port, and
if so,
the details of switching to the other port.

I just did a tracert on that server and reached smtp.emailsrvr.com, so you
may also need to check with emailsrvr.com since they may run it for
mris.com.

MRIS.com is not your home ISP. As such, using their SMTP server is
not likely to succeed. For an explanation, see
http://www.postcastserver.com/help/Port_25_Blocking.aspx

There are four possible workarounds for this problem.
1. Use the SMTP server belonging to your home ISP (assuming
you are sending from home).
2. Use your ISP's webmail for sending (works anywhere).
3. Use a port other than '25' for SMTP, if MRIS.com has a
provision for that. I doubt they do.
4. Get a free Gmail account, configure it for POP access, and
use it for your sending chores. Gmail uses port 465 for SMTP,
which is not blocked.
