outdated addres book

I upgraded to MS XP from ME. When I imported address book, I seemed to have
got old, outdated addresses. I originally set up the address book in MS Works
word processor. I'm not sure I got everything backed up correctly, because I
ran out of memory, both on hard drive and disk. Can I get the address book
back?

Are you referring to the Windows Address Book used by Outlook Express?

Was MS Office or MS Outlook installed on the WinME machine?

I think OE was installed, the address book was originally set up in Works.
Office was not installed.
