OUT OF RANGE error

K

Ken Simmons [MSFT]

Hi Chris,

Try changing either the refresh rate of the monitor or the video resolution
and test to see if the message goes away.

Greetings --

Either reconnect the monitor's video cable to the video adapter on
the PC, or boot into Safe Mode and then set the display (resolution,
refresh rate, and/or number of colors) to something that your monitor
can handle. Consult both the video card's and the monitor's manuals
for details.

If the above suggestions both fail, replace your video adapter.

My Computer Monitor is giving me a OUT OF RANGE error How
do I fix it.

The problem is related to the refresh rate your video adapter is sending.
The fix is to boot to Safe mode blindly. F8 and press down once with
keyboard arrow + enter. I hope you have good ears.
