Out of Office / Using rules

Hi!
I have a rather big problem that I hope you can help me with. I have about
50 users, all with an Exchange account. Some of these users are members of
distribution groups, lets call one of the groups Service. Service contains 15
users/members, and the problem occurs when one or more of the members are out
of the office. Then they activate the Out of Office function, so that people
who send them mail will get a reply. BUT we don't want the Out of Office
reply to occur when the message is sent to Service, only when the user is in
the to or cc field. I have tried differet rules, but nothing seems to work
the way I want it to.. Any simple solution to this?

The company uses Exchange 2000, and Office 2003.

No, not that I know of. OOF is all or nothing at all...this is one reason a
lot of companies don't allow OOF replies to the Internet. (also, it replies
to every spammer who sends you herbal v14gr4 ads).

Ok, so OOF is not a good solution... Is there a good way to use rules to
solve my problem? I'm not sure on which conditions to use, but the ideal
solution would be to check messages when they arrive, when my name is in the
to or cc box, and then specify the text in the message to return. But I find
only two choices, have server reply using a specific message, or reply using
a specific template. Which one is preferred? And how can I change the
template? I really want this to work...
