out of office reply

Hi,

Why do people sending me email only get an "out-of-office AutoReply"
for the first email they send me?

I would like that the senders get an out-of-office Reply for every
email they send me during my absence.

Is this configurable somewhere in outlook / exchange?

I am running an outlook 2002 client.

thanks for your reply, Dani

This is a security measure to prevent the creation of endless mailloops
(think about what would happen if the both of you would have the OOF turned
on).

You can create a Wizard Rule that replies to all messages with a specific
template but again; make sure you set some exceptions to prevent the
creation of endless mailloops.

Also note that by secure default autoforwarding and autoreplying to the
Internet is disabled on the Exchange server. To enable see;
