Out of Office Assistant

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2002 and would like to know if there is an addon I could
download to get Out of Office Assistant that shows up under Tools/Out of
Office Assistant in Exchange Server versions of Outlook (at our work)?

I have read the directions and set up a template that I could use when away
from my home computer but any attempts to edit that template easily have
failed. I would like to be able to change dates and times when I use the
Rules Wizard template as I can in the work version of Outlook, but it's
easier to create a template than edit it each time. At work we must have
Exchange Server because it is available under Tool. At home here, it isn't.

Is there a way that might be easy enough to edit this template? or would
there be an addon I could download to get the actual Out of Office Assistant
without needing the Exhange Server? I cannot find that Exchange Server
available in my Office Professional 2002.

TIA for any help!!

You need to be connected to an Exchange server to have the OOA. Otherwise,
you need to emulate it with a rule. See

that template now?

Is there a way to edit a template in Outlook?

I'm assuming you created an OFT (Office Template) file. Edit that file by
double-clicking it, making your changes, and then saving as a template
again.
