Out of Office Assistant in Outlook 2003 not working

Out of Office Assistant not working. No errors are generated but recipient
never receives Out of Office message (internally or externally). Running
Outlook 2003 and Exchange Server 2003. Turned "allow out of office
messages" on for internet messages in Exchange. Have looked for a solution
but nothing has resolved the problem.

If it doesn't work either when you enable the OOF through OWA it makes it an
Exchange issue.
