Out of memory

I have written a macro that copies and pastes a number of large chunks of
data. However I sometimes get an "Out of memory" message from Excel and
wondered if this is anything to do with the clipboard being full?

If this is the case, is there an easy way to empty the clipboard/stop this
error?

application.cutcopymode=false will clear the normal clipboard.

also make sure the office clipboard is not gathering data..

(check the options button at the bottom of the taskpane.
UNCHECK collect without showing the office clipboard")

and make sure the office clipboard is not showing.

automating the office clipboard is a mess.
I've just disabled the darn thing completely.
