OT: XPSP3 uninstaller removal

My Job as recently allowed the installation of XPSP3 so i will be doing it at
home [i keep the work machine and home machine in sync with these things].

I generally remove the uninstallers for Patch Tuesday patches just prior to
the next Patch Tuesday, figuring that if nothing went screwy in a month it's
probably not going to.

So my question is this, How long would you wait before removing the XPSP3
Uninstall files to recover the space and keep things tidy.

Since XPSP3 seems very stable I'm thinking a month should be fine.
Opinions ?

Are you running the IE8 beta?

There are some complexities to this beta and when it is installed that may
require uninstalling the SP to uninstall the beta, as I dimly recall. It is
covered in the notes for the beta.

If you don't do risky things like running beta software, I'd not worry about
it, but I probably wouldn't remove the uninstall stuff unless I was really
tight on space.

Bill,
Thanks for replying, Nope, not beta software.
I am still using IE 6, If i do go to 7 [or 8 for that matter] it would be
later down the road, after the SP3 install.
