[OT] Visual Studio 2005 in the UK

Not being able to find Visual Studio 2005 in stock at any UK retailer from
the official release date onwards, I e-mailed Microsoft UK for availability
info. Several e-mails having been exchanged, I finally had an answer today
as to when it'll be available in the UK market: mid-January 2006!

And I was hoping to have it by Christmas.

I doubt if many people buy the boxed copies, most buy MSDN subscriptions and
download the software. I also live in Uk and have had it since day 1.
