[ot kinda] Posts not showing in Web viewer

I was away from my normal computer at one point today and a friend allowed me
to use their's and I noticed something odd.

There appears to be a post today, by Bert Hyman at about 03:12pm CDT USA,
that is showing up in news readers (TB for example) that is not showing in
the Web based viewer, both IE and FF. Anybody else noticing this?

I would like to reply to him but usually use the Web Based service so I can
authenticate.

(As a side note, I see that there is also a post from "our friend" but as I
have him on my troll list I am not surprised that I can't see his ;-)

Hi Tim , It's been screwy for about a week now i couldn't get here for 2-3

The servers for the HTML versus the NNTP are separate, and they must be kept
in synch. I no longer have anyone I know I can write to about such issues,
I'm afraid. Usually it will get fixed eventually, but I'm not sure how.

RonH and BillS comments in this topic show up in TB but not on the web
and several replies to the previous topic by BillS, PatW, an 1PW are also
showing up in TB but not on the web.

What method are you guys using to post, HTML or NNTP?

I hope MS gets their stuff together soon.

Hi Tim:

99+% of the time I use only plain text through my NNTP provider
(Eternal-September) using Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 as a
newsreader. I'll mostly use my Windows XP Pro system & sometimes
RHEL5 or F11 Linux systems. I've used Google with a big gun held to
my head though...

Embarrassing Correction: Of course the NNTP provider is
privatenews.microsoft.com

I use Eternal-September for most other newsgroups.

Sorry 'bout that. Duh!

This site has been screwy for many months now - even a yeart or so io the
point I`ve lost interest. That is when viewed thru HTTP. I recall commenting
to Bill many moons ago. I always get a page `done but with errors` indication
- bottom left in browser window IE8. MS don`t seem to be bothered. All other
NGs I visit page and refresh with no problems.

My last post took two days to appear!
