My old wacom 1212 UD is having problems. These are not in my area of
expertise as far as troubleshooting goes. This one was my first and only
tablet (360$ in the day) and had worked for a long time without problems.

The problem is, on the horizontel axis it seems that the pen looses
connection every 3 inches when traveling north to south in a straight line
at any start point.. Pretty much very erratic pen behaviour overall, (across
two pens and 2 PCs). The only changes being that I am using it on LCDs with
higher resolutions. Viewsonic VG2021m (ATI x1300 256) and a CMV CT-723A (ATI
9600 128pro)

Happens On XP SP2(home) and Win ME.

Whats your take on it?

Ouch on the price.

So what happens when you revert back to your previous lower
resolution? Maybe you need to reinstall the drivers at the higher
resolution? Just a shot in the dark.

thanks AE I did try wth the old monitor and lowered the res on the lcd's,
no difference.....on the up side I saw a 12x12 on ebay in the box for
69.00....come to think of it, thats kind of a sad thing considering the cost
when I bought it.

thnks
