OT. drugs

I know I'm in the wrong NG but I'll try anyway. You guys are so well
informed you may know and will share pharmacy addresses with me. I can't
seem to find a NG that addresses this subject. This is at least world
wide.[g]

I'm looking for sources of prescription drugs. I have even gotten them from
Sri Lanka but would prefer Canada or Mexico.

Things like Namenda (Memantine) & Reminyl. Both are for Alzheimer's and
very expensive so excuse me for bothering you OT but at least I know I'm in
a friendly group.

If this does offend anyone, I apologize. Just delete it.

Hello Glenn

Perhaps some of these on-line pharmacies may be of help to you.
http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&cr=countryCA&q=canadian+online+pharmacies&spell=1

You may want to check out this article about Americans attempting to
purchase drugs from Canadian Pharmacies.
http://temagami.carleton.ca/jmc/cnews/07032003/n5.shtml

It is becoming increasingly more difficult for Americans to purchase
Canadian drugs. Limited supply of prescription drugs here and angry
American Pharmaceutical companies, has led to both the Canadian and
American governments attempts to restrict cross-border and Internet sales.

Be very careful when purchasing drugs from Asia and Latin America.
Unfortunately many of these are being found to be counterfeit.

I did say Canada but I had google searched and found the same thing. All
that I have tried had prices even higher than right here in Kansas.

I guess when I mentioned Sri Lanka, I was hoping for some sources in Europe
that might be cheaper although all the Sri Lanka pills we have gotten have
worked as required. Googling hasn't found any in other parts of the world
and I knew some of you were from those parts,

Going to a doctor was mentioned. Of course we went, that was where we got
the prescriptions. For the un-knowing, it is for a very devastating
disease.

Try googling for mexico pharmacy

One of the first links:

http://www.sharpmeds.com/

"Entrust a Safe and Reliable Mexican Pharmacy
Prices up to 75% lower than a Canadian pharmacy
No prior prescription required."

From the FAQ:

"Is there a limit on how much I can buy?

Yes, you may purchase only a maximum of 3 month supply of each of your medications.

Do you sell narcotics?

No, it is illegal for a Pharmacy to mail a narcotic or controlled substance to U.S resident.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship our medications everywhere except France and Germany?"

Obviously there are no problems getting drugs sent to you.
The only problem you may encounter is the border control in your own
country.

Glen, you might investigate hupezine A. It is a much less expensive
reversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor than Cognex (Tacrin), Aricept
(Donepezil), Namenda (Memantine), etc. Hup A does not appear to be as
dangerous as Cognex and in our limited experience is much more easily
tolerated than Aricept, though it may not be quite as effective.
Research, especially comparative, is limited. The clinical dose is
several times the usual US over-the-counter label.

Alzheimer's is quite devastating for the entire family. Good luck.

Oh but didn't you know? You are on the only
drug you need. Windows is your drug and
Bill Gates is your drug master.

.... and the above addle-pated, dorky post is a shining example of what it
can do to you. It will also piddle on the carpet, snitch the sausages,
make the cat pregnant and scare the goldfish.

Mooooooooooooooooooooo!

| Might check into various patient assistance programs. Income levels can
vary but many do qualify.

One such program:

http://www.rxassist.org/default.cfm

I do the paperwork as part of a volenteer/non profit group. Each program
has it's own rules and you have to follow them carefully but the benefits
can be great.

Namenda

Reminyl

I won't thank each individually because I don't want to clutter the NG with
OT's but I can't tell you how grateful I am that this NG is populated with
so many nice people. MY wife and I are both 74 and this is for her. What
she is taking seems to help and her neurologist seems to be happy with it so
I'll stick with it. I will be down in south Texas in April and will check
out Mexico in person then. Aricept caused nightmares, the Reminyl doesn't.
It's nice to have the world to ask.

you might check out antiaging-systems.com as they have a very good selection
of medications which are prescribed the world over for alzheimers and other
age-related problems. I have personally used some of their products and I
tell you the Nootropyl is really amazing for helping you learn new
information and retain it.

Best of luck to you.
