That's the price we pay for living in the "Information Age".
All kinds of businesses and government agencies have been collecting data on everyone for some time. The sad part is, that some of them are more than willing to sell this information, legally or not.

Why do you suppose that there is such an information underground?

I'll tell you why. Because everyone in the USA is living on credit.
Everyone is in debt.

If they weren't, there would be no market for that data.

And the US gov't is both the biggest debtor and biggest collector.
They don't want access to all that information to track down
terrorists! They want it to track down every last tax dollar that you
and every other citizen owes them. They want to snoop around and see
if there's any tax money owed to them, any unreported income, etc.

It's always been this way. In fact if anything, this sort of
information is more secure now than it was back in the "Wild West"
days when the local banker was the Sheriff's cousin and married to Dry
Good peddler's sister. The beast we call The Internet has just
streamlined the whole process, enabled bulk processing, and brought it
to the attention of the average Joe in a dramatic way.

This isn't a new phenomenon, a rich relative of mine was the victim of
identity theft 25+ years ago. And back then, you were just buggered. :(

Who can be more devious, fascist and psychopathic than the EVIL AMERICAN
GOVT SADISTS and PERVERTS who are TRACKING TENS OF MILLIONS of ORDINARY
AMERICANS financial records and transactions JUST for the PURPOSE of
tracking TERRORISM MONEY when the TERRORISTS already KNOW that their MONEY
TRANSFERS are being monitored by US govt ?

May be you dont know that terrorists use HAWALA channel which means ALL the
transfers are done with word of mouth between different brokers in different
countries. Its a MULTI BILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS all over the world.

And these EVIL AMERICAN GOVT PSYCHOPATHS are UPSET yesterday that SOME
insiders LEAKED to NY Times that NSA, CIA and FBI are tracking financial
records and transactions of MILLIONS and MILLIONS of ordinary americans' AS
IF the TERRORISTS DONT KNOW about it.

LoL..........

This stuff has been going on for years, even before the first Bush, you
just didn't read about it in the news because they had some ethics.

Now it seems like the media outlets are only interested in defeating the
Republicans and Helping anyone considered an enemy of the US.

Who had ethics?? Are you referring to Bush, the previous administration,
or the media?

And why would the media be interested in defeating the Republicans? Or
helping enemies of the US?

Nothing personal, but this list has recently exploded with OT posts - about
Bush, the people of India, etc. etc.

Please, let's stick to freeware.

It's a sign of the times. There's some unusually scary stuff going on,
and I think that people's concern is spilling over into what would
normally be non-political arenas. I predict that this trend will
continue until some of the core societal issues - notably the
undermining of true democracy in the United States - are addressed.

Lithtoad, I see that you are still the same fool that you were
a year or so ago, nothing ever changes does it, you ignorant, fascist,
right-wing fool?
What are you, nineteen years old now and still on track to be
fascist net cop? Are you a rent-a-pig now waiting for your day in the
sun to be a real pig slopping at the trough in the sun behind the

talk politics, try talk.politics.
