ost and pst file

Hi all,
Just go outlook with business contact manager. I started tinkering with it
and realized that I was inputing alll my contact information incorrectly. So
I decided to delete the data base and the few contatcs I ahd inputed. After
creating a new database, I can't access the folders marked "Business
contacts" or Accounts" it tells me:

"theseset of folders can't be opened"
This error usually occurs if the OST or PST file you are using is:
Unavailable.
Protected with file permissions.
On a share on a server and the network is down.
Corrupt.
To correct this problem, store the OST or PST file on the local computer.

I have no idea what this means so hence I can't fix it, but if someone can
help me I'd greatly appreciate it!! If this is something simple I apologize
for my ignorance:)

This forum deals with the databse program MS Access that is part of Micro
$oft's Office suite! You need to post your question in a more appropriate
forum.

You should repost in an Outlook newsgroup. The webpage can be confusing; this
is the first group alphabetically, and even if you opened it from Outlook it
may have come up. Scroll down to find your version of Outlook and ask there.

And... good luck. I don't like the sound of the message, you may well have
inadvertantly corrupted your .pst file. Do you have your disk backed up?
