Orphaned Message Window After Message is Sent

Hello,

I've had this problem ever since I started using Outlook 2007 some time ago.
Occasionally, when I start a new message or reply to a message and then send
the message, the message window remains in the Windows Task Bar.

I can right click on the Window and the context dialog appears, but when I
click Close nothing happens. The only way I can get this window to dissapear
is to close Outlook and re-open it.

I can't seem to reliably reproduce the behavior. I can go days without it
happening, but then it will happen twice in a day.

The only troubleshooting step I've tried is repairing my installation of
Office 2007. My operating system is Windows XP SP2 with all up to date
patches applied.

Can anyone lend a hand? We are starting a project to roll out Office 2007
and I'd hate to see this crop up in the implementation without having a
solution.

Thanks as always!

Thanks Roady,

This is on a laptop, but when docked I only use one monitor. I can't be
sure, but I think this has happened when I was not docked. I do have a
program called UltraMon loaded.

The only third party add-in I have in Outlook is Snag-It. I will disable it
and see if that makes a difference. The rest of the Add-in's are for Live
Meeting, Outlook Backup and OneNote. The only ones that have been there
consistently since I've used Outlook 2007 are Outlook Backup and Snag-It. I
recently installed Live Meeting.
