Organizer is unable to cancel recurring meeting

She created the recurring meeting about 2 months with no end date. She is
the organizer and is listed as the organizer for the meeing.

When she goes to cancel an occurance of the meeting, all she can do is
delete the meeting, but no option to cancel the meeting and thus send and
update to all that the meeting was cancel. She is unable to cancel other
occurance of the meeting.

Any ideas what it could be and now to make the cancel option appear.

there is a confernece room listed as a resource.
