Having not payed a great deal of attention to the structure of my start menu when installing new stuff its now quite a mess, how do I go about organising it more sensibly?

It should just be a case of dragging items around on the start menu. If you want to create sub-folders, right click on "Programs" on the start menu and click explore :)

As Ian said, drag 'em out of the "Startup" and plonk 'em anywhere you like ... make a new folder for them and plonk 'em in there.

I have nothing in my "startup" and that's the way it'll be. :D
