ORG CHARTS

I am very disappointed in Microsoft for making it more difficult to do org
charts in PowerPoint. It was so simple before with lots of flexibility. I
cant even work on the old ones because they keep changing to this new format
and my boss is not happy with me about it.

I need to be able to create and work on an org chart that is both a
horizontal and hanging left and hanging right from the same superior. The
only way that I see to do this is to create each box manually and draw the
lines. This is terrible! You didn't have to do that before! Help
somebody!!!!! I've even bought Visio only to find out the same problem
exists. I'm now considering buying SmartDraw!

I know this won't solve all of the issues, but try turning off the
Autolayout feature on the Diagramming toolbar. That may help.

a download that might help you just retain the old formatting/org chart.
