Oracle instances are damaged after applying patch

After applying the security patch, we can no longer
connect to any of our Oracle instances. Oracle says that
the control file is damaged as a result of the patch and
the only option is to rebuild. Has anyone else had this
problem and how did you resolve?

Sorry, the one referred to in Microsoft Security Bulletin
MS03-039 (824146) for Windows 2000 server.
