Option Strict on with Excel Automation using VB.net 2003

How could I use a statement like objExcel.selection.font.bold in an Excel Automation using VB.net 2003 with Option Strict On? It works fine with Option Strict Off but tells me that it won't allow late binding when Option Strict is On.
