Optimal settings for capture method: What steps, about to do 10 ta

I am new to MM about to capture 10 digital video tapes to my pc. Can anyone
share optiomal settings, so I dont have to do this process again? I video
settong under caputre wizard, do I select Best quality for playback or Other
settings DV-AVI (NTSC). Basically I just want to transfer to my pc to watch
or to put on my video ipod at some time.

If you are not planning on putting the videos onto a DVD then High Quality
(NTSC) is probably the way to go. DV-AVI is higher quality but the
difference is only noticeable on DVD not when watching on your computer in
my opinion plus DV-AVI is a far larger file.
