operation aborted

Everytime I try to go onto to internet with Internet
Explorer 6, it tells me- "Internet Explorer cannot open
this site-Operation Aborted"
Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
