Opening Word 2003 document using Word 6.0

I have a client who uses Word 6.0. I have Word 2003. When I send him a
document from Word 2003, he cannot read it with his Word 6.0 application.

Word 6 and Word 2003 use different formats. In Word 2003, try saving in
"Word 97-2003 & 6.0/95 - RTF" format.

If you feel like being nice, you can save from Word 2003 in a format
that Word 6.0 can read. In the Save dialog, pull down the "Save as
type" list and choose "Word 97-2003 & 6.0/95 RTF (*.doc)".

Otherwise, the client can download a free viewer from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...87-8732-48D5-8689-AB826E7B8FDF&displaylang=en
to read and print (but not edit) Word 2003 documents.

Thank you very much, Herb. That seems to work just fine.
