Opening up an old OST file

Hello Everyone,

I'm running MS Outlook 2003[SP1] on an XP[SP2] platform.

Up to a month ago, I used to travel for my office, using a Laptop that was
configured with Outlook setup to use Cache Mode.

Now that I primarily work out of the Home Office, the Exchange Admin folks
decided they'd blow away my Mailbox and recreate from scratch (I don't know
why).

Any way, I've got a copy of my old Outlook.ost file, which contains my old
Contacts and emails, but I can't open it up because they've already
reformatted the Laptop. Each time I try to open it, I get an error message
stating that the OST file needs a different Profile.

Does anyone know of a way that I can export the content of the OST file into
a PST file?

Thanks.

You can [-urchase an OST to PST converter, if the data is important enough
to you. You may also be able to create another mail profile whose name
matches what you used before and see if you can start Outlook in off-line
mode using that profile and, if it works, create a PST and copy the contents
of the folders to it.
