Opening Txt File

Hello,

I am not able to open a txt file in word by right clicking on the file. If
right click on the file and choose word from the scroll down menu nothing
happens. If I right click and choose open with I get the following error
message "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed"
I have tryed and repair with the shortcut option checked and a reinstall.
Niether worked.
Any ideas?

Can you open the file by first opening Word, choosing File --> Open, and then
choosing the .txt file?

Hello,

Yes we can open the file if we open word first. We are hoping to find a
solution to the open it with the right click as we have to open a lot of txt
files in word.
