Opening Power Point 2003 presentations in 2000 missing graphics

I am trying to open various Power Point presentations that were created in
2003, but I have 2000 loaded on my machine. The presentation opens, but the
graphics are missing. The graphics are part of a template presentation and
are very important. Any suggestions?

David,
If I install the viewer, will I still be able to get into PP2000 and
edit/create presentations that can be opened in 2003? Example: my supervisor
created a template with our company logo on it (in 2003), when I open it up
in 2000, I don't see the logo. I could install the viewer, but could I then
save it to a 2000 format so I could edit it later??

Thanks!

Unfortunately, the Viewer won't let you save, and there is no change in
the format from 2000 to 2003 so there is nothing to save it to. You
either need your boss to disable the new features of PowerPoint or to buy
you an upgrade to 2003.

David,
Thanks for the info. I thought that was the answer, but i just wanted to be
sure before we had to ask for an upgrade. Thanks!!

David,
We tried that and it didn't work.

Any other ideas?? When we tried the boxes, not only was I missing the
graphics but I'm also missing slides (slides that i'm assuming have animation
that 2000 does not offer.)

Thanks!
