Opening newer version in Access 2000

I have a database which was created in Access 2003 (I believe) and was sent
to me to us. I only have Access 2000, and the document will not open and the
message I keep getting is that I need to upgrade to open this database. Is
there anyway to open this in Acccess 2000 without having to convert it in
Access 2003?

Not unless they used the 2000 format. If they used the later format, you
can't open it with a previous version.

Yes ... if you have them send you the database after they've saved it as an
Access 2000 version!

(and you are not "converting it in[to] Access 2003 ... Access [2000] is
telling you that it can't open the newer version)
