OPENING FILES OR DOWNLOADINGS

pLEASE HELP, I'M READY TO GIVE UP1 I FEEL THE ONLY WAY TO
FIX THIS PROBLEM IS TO REMOVE MY MEDIA PLAYER WHICH I HAVE
DONE AND IT DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

PROBLEMS IS SHOULD I RECIEVE A E-MAIL WITH AN ATTACHMENT I
TRY TO DOWNLOAD IT AND USUALLY IS A POEM OR JOKE SENT TO
ME. THE MEDIA PLAYER TRIES TO OPEN IT UP AND NATURALY
CAN'T READ THE FILE. I ALSO TRIED OPENING UP A DOUCUMENT
AND THIS MEDIA PLAYER POPS ON THE SCREEN AND I CAN'T OPEN
IT UP OF COURSE. I HAVE A WINDOWS 2000 PROGRAM. PLEASE CAN
SOME ONE HELP ME. THIS HAS BEEN AN ON GOING PROBLEMS FOR
MONTHS NOW.

Do you trust the source of these "jokes" or "poems"? It sounds like you may
be getting random junk in your e-mail.

What's the file extension on these files?

Seems like you might have to open Explorer (Not Internet
Explorer) and reassociate the files that you eant to be
able to open with the right program. Eg. html,asp-files
with Internet explorer or Mediaplayer with wmv,mpeg,avi-
files.
