Opening e-mail messages from excel

I have recently updated my Microsoft office to the 2007 version. With this
new version of excel, when I try to open an e-mail message by clicking on the
e-mail addresses in my database it takes forever for the window to pop up,
something which never used to happen with my old version of excel. How can I
fix this? Do I need to get a newer version of outlook express? I have outlook
express 6.0 version currently. Thank you.

You'll probably want to post this to microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
after verifying that you have the same problem in other applications besides
Excel.

OE is not related to Outlook, despite having the same word in it's name.
