opening an Access 2007 file in Access 2000

If I was given a cd's with a database on them but the file was made in Access
2007---will I be able to open in Access 2000.

If not--how can I do it with saving it a different way.

What's the extension of the database? If it's accdb, then no, you won't be
able to open it.

If it's mdb, then it's possible you will be able to open it. However, that
depends whether it was saved in Access 2000 format, or in Access 2002/2003
format. (If the latter, you won't be able to)
