Access Opening Access 07 starts Office installation

I have several users with Access 97 as part of an application. Recently we installed Office 07 on the PCs in our building. Most users have no problem but some of them will click on Access 07 and it will start the Office 07 installation. On the same PC another user can logon and Access 07 works fine. It seems to be a profile issue. I have renamed the users profile and had them login again and Access 07 works fine. ANY THOUGHTS????
