Open powerpoint using code

Hi,

I am developing a addin powerpoint, i have a .ppt file in my desktop now i
nee to open that file in a "new powerpoint presentation" currently its open
in my same hostapplication how can avoid this

PowerPoint is a single instance application. All presentations open in the
same application. This is by-design.

As Chiraq says PowerPoint is single instance (unless you have several user
accounts open). If you are developing an Add In why is this a problem though?
Maybe if you explain the problem we can help solve it.

Hi,

In my powerpoint addin button click launch a new form, then the form
contains a button, when i click in that button will open a powerpoint file
that already saved in destktop named "test.pptx" now it will open as a new
window but my addin host app powerpoint and newly opend powerpoint are acts
like hang (but actually its not hang) , i cant select anything or i am not
able to click any button in powerpoint

How can solve this problem
