Open Outlook from Access

Does anyone know how to open outlook on a click event and
have it look at the field that is being double clicked to
determine to whom the email should be sent?

I found some information on docmd.sendobject, but this
wants to send an entire email and I really don't want to
do that. I want to allow the users to be able to define
the subject and body of the email after outlook has
opened.

If outlook is the default mail client, you can just create a new hyperlink
filed with the mail address. Click this and outlook will launch a new mail
that contains the address and your user can fill in the rest.
