Open Media Player in New Window??

I was attempting to use windows media player, was given a box where I was to
choose a peference, and now when using Internet Explorer, if I click on a
link that uses Windows Media Player, the Media Player opens up within the
Explorer window on the left side. I would prefer that the Media Player open
up in its own window. I took a look at the options settings in Explorer and
Media Player but couldn't see where to set that preference. Any ideas?

Open the media bar and at the bottom of it, click media options, settings,
uncheck: play in bar, or reset the settings or set as you like.
