Open Files - Open Mode - No Access

In doing some diagnosis work on our Windows 2000 Server I was nosing around
in the Computer Management->Shared Folders->Open Files and noticed that some
users had "no access" under the "Open Mode" column. So far I only see it on
..exe files. I understand the "Read" and "Read+Write" values but I can't find
any information on what precisely "no access" means. I can make some decent
guesses but it would be nice to know exactly what it means.

means user is Denied access, as in No read, no write, no copy, no
delete, no modify, no nothing.

Okay. This may be a bonehead question but if the user doesn't have any kind
of access to it then why is it an open file or at least listed as an open
file?

Could be the SYSTEM has it open. NTFS assigns permissions based on
"USER" rights. You asked a vague question about the permissions listed
