onscreen keyboard for login

Hello,

I have a computer being used in a kiosk-exhibit-like situation. It
needs to be password protected on startup, but also has no keyboard.

Is is possible to have the Windows XP onscreen keyboard launch at
startup? I saw some threads from 3 years ago that looked a bit
intimidating, and am hoping that maybe there had been some progress in
making it easier over the past few years.

Thanks,
Sean

There are several options for the On-screen keyboard.
Hold down the Windows Logo key and press U.
Sam will probably start talking, but just ignore him.
On this window highlight On-screen keyboard and below
that you'll have three options on how you want to set it up then press OK.

Byte, thanks but this is somewhat difficult on a computer without a
keyboard.

Also -- setting up the OSK to launch on log-in is insufficient since I
need to enter the password to log in!

There is no way to launch the OSK prior to your entering the password.
Windows will not activate unless you delete the password requirement.
